DJ Cayse, CPN

DJ is a dedicated and compassionate Adult-Gerontology Primary Care Nurse Practitioner, board-certified through the American Academy of Nurse Practitioners. He holds a Master of Science in Nursing (MSN), a Bachelor of Science in Nursing (BSN), and an Associate Degree in Nursing (ADN), all earned from the University of Cincinnati between 2021 and 2024. His commitment to lifelong learning and professional growth reflects his passion for providing high-quality, evidence-based care to adults and older adults across the health spectrum. DJ began his nursing career in 2021 as a medical-surgical registered nurse, where he primarily served the geriatric population in both acute care and postoperative settings. In this role, he gained valuable hands-on experience managing complex chronic conditions, facilitating patient recovery, and advocating for individualized care plans. His time at the bedside inspired him to pursue advanced practice nursing, where he could take a more active role in disease prevention, health promotion, and long-term wellness for his patients. When he’s not caring for patients, DJ enjoys spending time with his fiancé and their beloved pets, spending time outdoors, listening to music, and cooking. He values balance in life and believes that nurturing personal passions is essential to being an effective and empathetic healthcare provider.
