Omar R. Diaz, APRN, CNP

Omar R. Diaz is a nurse practitioner with RN experience in hospital environments, rehabilitation, and long-term care. He received his Bachelor of Science in nursing from the University of Toledo. While working in a busy medical intensive care unit, Omar completed his Master of Science in nursing with a subspecialty in adult and geriatric care from the University of Akron. He is a board-certified adult/gerontology nurse practitioner and licensed in Ohio. His focus is on providing holistic, compassionate care while ensuring comprehensive evaluation and management of adult and geriatric patients, including care of those with complex medical and psychosocial needs in all settings. Omar grew up in New Jersey and later moved to Ohio to pursue his schooling. His passion for learning and practicing the art of nursing is reflected in his overall compassionate care: “I believe that every one of my patients should receive the type of compassionate care that I would want for one of my own family members and communication with the patient’s family is the key to good healthcare.” Omar lives in North Ridgeville, OH. He is a dog lover and loves to travel and explore new places.
